                               RESOLUTION NO. 18971
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A LANE OF RIVERSIDE DRIVE/
                   AMNICOLA HIGHWAY MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN ON SATURDAY, APRIL 20, 1991 FROM 7:30
                   A.M. TO 10:30 A.M. FOR THE PRESENTATION OF
                   THE "1040K ROAD RACE" SPONSORED BY THE
                   CHATTANOOGA TRACK CLUB UNDER CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the north curblane of Riverside Drive/
       Amnicola Highway between 0.2 miles west of 1011 Riverside Drive
       (the Sandbar Restaurant) and the Riverport Industrial Park on
       Saturday, April 20, 1991 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for the
       presentation of the "1040K Road Race" under the sponsorship of 
the
       Chattanooga Track Club provided that the sponsor shall set out 
and
       pick up traffic cones, and road closed and detour signs in
       accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto and 
shall
       provide, at all times, an access lane for fire and other 
emergency
       vehicles.
